Libby’s Move with ME Journey
At Heart of England Mencap, we are lucky to meet so many wonderful people through our Move with ME community programme, and one of those people is Libby.
Libby has been part of Move with ME from the very beginning and has become a much-loved member of our community. With the support of her family, she has embraced a wide range of activities and experiences, always bringing enthusiasm, energy and a smile wherever she goes.
Over the years, Libby has enjoyed taking part in cycling sessions, Apple Farm experiences, multi-sports activities, and gym and swim sessions. She absolutely loves being active and getting involved, and it has been a joy to watch her grow in confidence while making memories and friendships along the way.
Anyone who has spent time with Libby will know just how infectious her positivity is. Whether she's taking on a new challenge or cheering others on, she always brightens everyone's day and reminds us what community is all about.

Eyes Down for a Full House!
As many people know, Move with ME holds a very special place in Libby's heart. Another thing that's close to her heart is Bingo!
That's why Libby and her family are generously organising a Bingo Fundraiser on 10th October in Shipston-on-Stour, helping to raise funds and awareness for the Move with ME programme.

The local community has shown incredible support, with many generous donations already received. We are so grateful to everyone who has contributed and helped make the event possible.
We're looking forward to coming together for what promises to be a fantastic evening of fun, laughter and community spirit, all while supporting a programme that means so much to Libby and so many others.
What is the Move with ME community programme?
Move with ME is a fun, inclusive community programme designed to help people of all abilities get active, build confidence, and connect with others.
Through a range of enjoyable activities, we support participants to improve their health and wellbeing while making new friends and being part of their local community. From sports and exercise sessions to outdoor experiences and social opportunities, Move with ME helps people discover new interests, develop skills and enjoy active, fulfilling lives.
Stories like Libby's show the difference these opportunities can make. We are incredibly grateful for the support of participants, families and local communities who help make Move with ME possible, and we can't wait to celebrate with Libby and her family at the Bingo Fundraiser in October.
